New Content - Ch. 9.5: Twining Threads
Greetings, Dear Manager.
With the Apr. 16th, 2026 (KST) Update, new content [Ch. 9.5: Twining Threads] will be added to the game.

- Event Unlock Conditions: Clear Main Story 0-4
- Event Stage Unlock Conditions: Clear Main Story Chapter 9
Event Description
- When the event starts, the [Ch. 9.5 - Twining Threads] Event Page will open.
- During the event period, you can earn [Severed Thread] by clearing the Twining Threads Event Stages & the Mirror Dungeons.
- You can redeem various rewards from the [Reward Exchange] by spending the [Severed Thread] that you have collected.
※ A new content update is scheduled for Apr. 23rd (Thu), allowing Managers to challenge the boss unit featured in [Ch. 9.5 - Twining Threads] at a higher difficulty.
Details will be provided via a future notice.
Event Gameplay
▶ Combat Encounters of Twining Threads
You can obtain [Severed Thread] every time you complete a combat Encounter of Twining Threads Event. Each Encounter has a first-time reward, and with it, you can obtain even more [Severed Thread].
The final Stage of Twining Threads will have a higher Enkephalin-to-Severed Thread ratio, and will be much more effective at collecting [Severed Thread].
▶ Mirror Dungeons
During the Event Period, [Twining Threads Theme Pack] will have a fixed appearance on the 5th floor of both Mirror Dungeon Normal & Hard. The Theme Pack features exclusive Choice Events and E.G.O Gifts.
※ Once the event is over, the Twining Threads Theme Pack will no longer have a fixed appearance, and may appear on different floors.
Clearing a Mirror Dungeon run will yield [Severed Thread]. Selecting the [Twining Threads] Theme Pack will yield even more [Severed Thread]. The Theme Pack in the Hard Difficulty yields more Event currency than the Normal Difficulty.
※ Please note that Weekly Bonuses do not affect the amount of Event currency gained.
※ Please note that Mirror Dungeon runs started prior to the event will not yield Event currency.
▶ Main Story
Managers who have not met the Event unlock conditions can obtain [Severed Thread] as a first-time reward from Main Story Combat Encounters.
Upon your first time clearing an Encounter, you can obtain [Severed Thread] proportional to the amount of Enkephalin Spent, regardless of whether you have met the EX Clear Conditions or not.
※ You cannot obtain the event currency from stages that have already been completed.
※ You cannot obtain [Severed Thread] from Luxcavations or the Refraction Railway.
Event Currency
In rare cases, clearing the Twining Threads Stages, the Mirror Dungeon, and the Main Story Stages will also yield [Severed and Scorched Skein].
[Severed and Scorched Skein] has the highest chance of dropping from the final Stage of the Twining Threads Event. However, the drop chance is the same across all other Encounters.
[Severed and Scorched Skein] is automatically converted to 20 [Severed Thread] in the Results or the Rewards screen upon acquisition.
Event Bonus Units
Obtain more [Severed Thread] by completing Event Encounters or the Mirror Dungeon while equipped with Event Bonus units.

※ The Event Currency Bonus from each Event Identity and E.G.O is additive (rounded up).
※ Event Currency Bonus maxes out at 120% Bonus.
※ Event Bonus Units do not have to participate in a battle; you can earn the bonus currency simply by having them in your Team Loadout.
※ Event Currency Bonus applies to first-time clear rewards and Mirror Dungeon clear rewards as well.
Event Rewards
At the [Rewards Exchange], you can spend [Severed Thread] you have collected to purchase various rewards.
※ You can no longer obtain [Severed Thread] after you obtain enough [Severed Thread] to purchase every item in the [Reward Exchange].
※ [Severed Thread] will no longer be obtainable once the Event closes after the 2026/05/14 (KST) Scheduled Update.
※ [Reward Exchange] will be open for 5 weeks, from 2026/4/16 12:00 (KST) ~ 2026/5/21 (KST) Scheduled Update.
※ Even after the event fully ends, you will be able to experience the Twining Threads Combat Encounters or view its story anytime at Drive and Theater - [Detour Tales].
